On May 23rd, the "First Jiujiang City Top Ten Virtuous Mothers Selection" award ceremony was held at the Chinese Virtuous Mother Garden. After preliminary and final evaluations, a total of 10 virtuous mothers and 7 nominees were selected. Pan Xining, a member of the Municipal Committee and Minister of Propaganda, Liu Guofa, Deputy Director of the Municipal People's Congress, and Xu Yaochun, Secretary of the County Party Committee, attended the award ceremony and presented awards to the "Top Ten Virtuous Mothers."

The "First Jiujiang City Top Ten Virtuous Mothers" are as follows: Yu Xiangying, a wise and virtuous mother who, with her daily persistence, has forged a strong character for her daughter and, with her year-round care, paved the way for her daughter to a world-class university; Ye Aihua, a wise and virtuous mother who has dedicated her love to children and contributed to society; Gong Qiuwen, a wise and virtuous mother who has cultivated an outstanding military officer and two doctoral graduates from prestigious schools; Xu Jing, a wise and virtuous mother whose son, after returning from his studies in the United States, still requires him to "carry virtue"; Hu Aiping, a virtuous and dedicated mother whose maternal love is like a pastoral poem and a landscape painting, gentle and profound; Deng Xiaomei, a virtuous and dedicated mother whose thoughts are referred to by her son as a "non-material family heirloom"; Dai Jin Dai, a kind and virtuous mother who has engraved the teachings of "great righteousness and integrity" in her son's heart and accompanied him in a life-and-death struggle against evil and deception; Yang Taorong, a kind and virtuous mother who supports her son's dedication to teaching in remote mountainous areas and cares for 15 foreign children with simple affection; Liu Dailan, a tenacious and selfless mother who has led her fellow villagers to turn a poor village into the wealthiest in the county, reminding her son to "not forget the well digger when drinking water"; and Xu Dongjiao, a tenacious and selfless mother who has saved countless abandoned infants from the hands of death with 23 years of vigilance and persistence.

In this selection, three virtuous mothers from our county were listed, namely Dai Jin Dai, Yang Taorong, and Liu Dailan.

Li Qing, Deputy Secretary of the County Party Committee, Luo Huilin, Director of the County People's Congress, Li Zhaopei, Chairman of the County CPPCC, Zhang Nan, a member of the County Party Committee and Minister of Propaganda, and Hu Jinbao, Deputy Director of the County People's Congress; the main leaders of the Municipal Civilization Office, Municipal Women's Federation, Jiujiang Daily, Jiujiang Radio and Television Station and other units attended the award ceremony.
